Sound Recordist

Capturing the highest quality audio is my passion. As a freelance engineer I am able to enter the studio of your choice to record dialogue for your Animation, Commercial, Podcast or ADR and Voice Over for Film and Television. I have the knowledge and experience to capture the sound you require to make your project complete.

Location

I also offer location recording for the times when we are not in the studio. My mobile studio can accommodate voice recordings for podcasts to multi-track recordings for Film Dialogue. Delivering studio quality recordings is my highest goal.

Home Studio Setup

The digital age of recording has made it easier for musicians and voice actors to start and grow their careers. But having the technology and knowing how to use it are separate things. I can visit your space and recommend your technological requirements, assess the sonic space, and basic training of the equipment to start or further your career.

Audio Post Production

The general term we give to the phase in Animation/Film/Television Productions where we build Sound Effects, edit the recorded Dialogue, add composed Music, then Mix it all together.

Sound Design

A sound scape adds another dimension to every project. Creating sound effects and background effects are the key elements that produce our sound scape. Whether your production is set in the real world or another galaxy I have the knowledge and passion to create sounds that are unique but recognizable.

Dialogue Editing

There are different levels to Dialogue Editing. They range from removing breaths and mouth noise for a Voice Over to surgically removing unwanted noise such as a room hum that has made its way on to your track. In the end you will receive a audio that is clean and clear. 

Re-Recording Mixing

Now that you have your Sound Effects, Dialogue, and Music how do you bring is all together? Re-Recording Mixing. An art all on it's own. Being able to balance all of these elements is the key in creating a final mix. After the mix has been approved I am able to deliver the final mix in a format that works best for you. This includes Mono, Stereo, and Surround Mixes and separate stems for Dialogue, Sound Effects, and Music.
